Cookie Policy
Effective:
We use cookies to make the site work and, only with your permission, to understand which pages help people the most. This page lists every cookie we set, what it does, and how long it lasts. You can change your choice at any time using the button below.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a site asks your browser to store, so the next page load can recognize you. Cookies range from strictly functional (remembering that you are signed in) to analytics (counting unique visitors). Modern browsers also use related storage technologies such as localStorage; for this policy we treat them as cookies for short.
2. Consent categories
We organize cookies into two categories. You can accept or decline each one.
Necessary (always on)
Required for the site to work: remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in after Discord OAuth, and protecting against CSRF. You cannot decline these because the site cannot function without them. They contain no advertising or analytics tracking and are never shared with third parties.
Analytics (off by default)
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages help visitors the most. Only loads if you opt in. We use Consent Mode v2: until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and no pixel fires. You can revoke consent at any time and any previously stored analytics cookies are no longer used; clear your browser cookies to remove them entirely.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_prefs | Necessary | Remembers your cookie-consent choices so we do not ask again on every visit. | 365 days | AI Ticket Bot |
| aitb_session | Necessary | Keeps you signed in to the dashboard after Discord OAuth. Only set while you are logged in. | Session (cleared on sign-out) | AI Ticket Bot |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics 4. Distinguishes visitors and aggregates traffic. Only set after you grant Analytics consent. | Up to 13 months |
Discord may also set its own cookies when their OAuth screen is shown during sign-in. Those cookies belong to Discord and are governed by Discord’s Privacy Policy.
4. Change your choice
Click below to re-open the cookie banner. Your current preference is preserved and pre-filled; saving the form updates Google Analytics consent state instantly.
You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings. The marketing site will still work; the dashboard requires Necessary cookies (specifically the session cookie) to keep you signed in.
5. Changes to this policy
When we add or remove a cookie, we update this page and bump the effective date at the top. If the change affects analytics or marketing categories, we re-prompt the banner so you can re-confirm your choice.
