Short answer: on Premium and up, AI Ticket Bot gives you a chat widget for your own website. It is not a simple bubble that only talks to a bot. A visitor asks a question, your server's AI answers it instantly, and the moment a human is needed the chat hands off to your real Discord staff, in a private thread or the dashboard. Every conversation is stored as a proper support ticket with a transcript. One line of code installs it, and it only runs on the domains you allow.
Your Discord support, now on your website
Most communities already run support in Discord: tickets, staff roles, a trained AI. The web widget takes that whole system and puts a doorway to it on your website. A visitor who never opens Discord can still get answers from the same AI your staff taught, and reach the same people, without leaving your site.
It is one line of code:
<script src="https://aiticketbot.com/widget/w.js" data-key="wgt_your_key" async></script>
That renders a chat launcher in the corner of your site, in your brand (your name and avatar from your white-label profile, plus an accent color you choose), locked to the domains you list so nobody can lift your snippet onto another site.
How a web chat actually works
- The AI answers first. A visitor opens the widget and asks a question. Your server's AI brain, the same one that handles your Discord tickets and that your staff teach with
/ai train, replies in seconds. It answers from what you have taught it, not a generic FAQ. - It hands off when a human is needed. When the AI decides the next step needs a person, when a visitor asks for one, or when you have set the widget to human-only, the chat hands off. The AI steps back and the visitor sees a clear "a team member will be with you" state.
- Your staff pick it up where they already are. On handoff, the bot opens a private Discord thread under a channel you choose, pings the staff role you set, and posts the context: the page the visitor is on, the recent conversation, and a short summary, with Claim and Close buttons. No Discord channel configured? The chat lands in the dashboard Web chats queue instead. Either way, staff reply and the visitor sees it live in the widget.
- It closes like any ticket. The visitor can end the chat, staff can close it from Discord or the dashboard, and a transcript is saved. A new question starts a fresh chat.
It is a real ticket, not a throwaway chat
A web chat is a first-class ticket (source: widget) stored right next to your Discord tickets. That means:
- It shows up in your dashboard under a Web chats view, fully readable and reply-able.
- It counts in your stats, so web support is measured like the rest.
- It gets a transcript at close, kept for your plan retention window, exactly like a Discord ticket.
- Your existing tools apply: claim, close, staff permissions, and the "AI stands down when staff join" rule.
Your team can work web chats from Discord or the dashboard, whichever they prefer. To the visitor, staff always appear as your brand ("the team"), never by their real Discord names.
The AI answers, your people close the loop
The split is deliberate. The AI clears the repetitive questions on its own, and the moment something needs judgment, a person is one step away. You decide how much the AI handles: keep a daily reserve so it answers until your usage crosses the line and then hands off, or set it to human-only so every chat goes straight to your team.
The AI itself is processed by our own AI platform (Nexus) and Anthropic's model API. Nothing is sent to other AI providers, and your brain state stays on our infrastructure.
Optional: let visitors sign in with Discord
Anonymous chat works fully, with no login. If you switch on Discord sign-in, a returning visitor can sign in with one click to keep their history and let your team see who they are. It reuses the same Discord login the dashboard uses, and it never asks for a password on your site.
For anonymous visitors, you can offer an optional follow-up field at handoff, an email or a handle, that is shown to your staff in the thread. We do not send any emails from it. It is there so your team can follow up on their own.
What it costs
The web widget is part of Premium and above, included with the plan, with no separate add-on or per-seat fee. See the live plans and limits on the pricing page.
Honest limits
- Visitors send text for now. Your staff can share links, but visitor file uploads are not in this version.
- A closed chat does not reopen. A new question opens a new chat, which keeps history clean.
- The follow-up contact is shown to staff, not emailed. AI Ticket Bot is Discord-first and does not send email.
- The widget is Premium and up, and it only runs on the https domains you allow.
If you already run AI Ticket Bot in your Discord, the web widget is the fastest way to meet people where they already are: on your own site, answered in seconds, with your real team one step behind the AI.

The real widget, in the four moments that matter: the AI answering, the handoff, what your staff see in Discord, and a human taking over.
Frequently asked questions
- Do visitors need a Discord account to use the widget?
- No. Anonymous chat works fully, with no login. Discord sign-in is optional and only unlocks saved history and identity for the visitors who choose it.
- Where do staff reply to web chats?
- In a private Discord thread the bot opens on handoff, or in the dashboard Web chats view. A reply from either place reaches the visitor in the widget.
- Is a web chat stored like a real ticket?
- Yes. It is a first-class ticket (source: widget) with a transcript kept for your plan retention window, readable and reply-able in the dashboard, counted in your stats.
- Can I make the widget human-only, with no AI?
- Yes. Set the AI reserve to zero and every chat goes straight to your team from the first message.
- What plan do I need for the web widget?
- Premium and above. It is included with the plan, with no separate add-on or per-seat fee. See the pricing page for live plans and limits.
- Will the widget match my brand?
- Yes. It uses your white-label name and avatar plus an accent color you choose, and it only runs on the https domains you allow.
